Hi, I’m Gaia - your Mahjong guide and cheerleader!

Mahjong first hooked me before 2020, and what began as curiosity quickly turned into my favorite obsession. When the world slowed down, it became my lifeline for laughter and connection.

I also saw how confusing it felt for beginners - too many rules, too much jargon. So I created Mahjong Made Simple: clear, fun, stress-free lessons that actually click.

I’m a certified instructor (and a 2025 American Mah Jongg Association Favorite Instructor nominee 🙌), but more importantly, I know how to guide nervous beginners with patience, humor, and clarity.

Now, whether we’re gathered in Tampa Bay or connecting virtually, my mission is simple: help women discover Mahjong as a joyful, social hobby that sparks confidence and friendships.

Because Mahjong isn’t just about winning - it’s about connection, play, and those magical aha! moments when it all falls into place.
