Rental Terms & Conditions

Important information - please read!

Each rental set includes:

  • 1 full set of tiles ready for American Mahjong (152 tiles, no blanks and no extra jokers) in a tile bag
  • 1 mat (the travel set has a designated mat already included)
  • 4 racks with storage bag
  • 4 current year NMJL cards (laminated copies)
  • 1 tablecloth
  • 1 pair of dice in pouch
  • 1 carry-all Mahjong bag

Rental rates:

  • $60 per set for 1 day rental (24 hours).
  • $95 per set for 2 day rental (48 hours).
  • $120 per set for 3 day rental (72 hours).

Pick up: Pick up and return in Gulfport, FL (St. Petersburg area). Address provided upon booking.

Delivery option: Delivery or pick up within a 10-mile radius of zip 33707 is available for $50 each way.

Set up service (optional): Want it all ready to go? Add $15 per table for full setup at your event location.

Financial information: A $200 security deposit is required at pickup via Venmo. A copy of a valid credit card and driver’s license is also required - a photo of each will be taken. Deposit is fully refunded upon return of all items in original condition. Late returns: $60 per additional 24 hours. Missing or damaged items will be charged at replacement value as shown below; please note that a missing or chipped tile renders the set unusable and the replacement value will be charged:

Rental FAQs

Can I rent multiple sets for a larger event?

Absolutely! I love a good Mahjong party. Just select the items you want and add them to your booking.

What happens if the items I request aren’t available?

If the items or rental options you select aren’t available for your chosen date, I’ll reach out right away. We’ll either select a great alternative or, if needed, cancel the order and issue a full refund. Easy peasy!

I’ve never played before - can I still rent a set?

Yes! My rentals are perfect whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started. (Psst… if you want an instructor at your event, I do that too! Contact me for details.)

What if I accidentally lose or damage something?

Life happens. That’s why I take a security deposit. If something goes missing or gets damaged, the replacement cost will be deducted from the deposit or charged to your card on file. Full details are listed above.

Can I extend my rental if I’m not ready to give it back?

Sure! Just contact me before your rental period ends. If the set isn’t already booked for another event, we can extend it for $40 per additional day.

What’s the setup service all about?

If you’d rather not fuss with tiles, racks, or tablecloths, I’ll take care of it for you. Just choose the setup add-on ($15 per table), and I’ll handle the rest - so you can walk in and play!

Do you offer Mahjong lessons too?

Yes, I do! From beginner basics to strategy deep-dives, I offer both private and group lessons. Renting a set is the perfect excuse to schedule one. Contact me for details!
