Learn Mahjong with Tampa Bay’s Top Instructor!

Invite friends for a classic foursome, enjoy a cozy private lesson for two, or fill your home with more friends for a lively, social learning experience - it’s your game, your group, your way! Your group can be any size (odd numbers are fine!).

We'll spend about 2 hours together at each lesson and discover the fun of Mahjong! I bring everything - tiles, racks, mats, and materials; you provide the location, tables, chairs, and any refreshments.

Lesson Options

  • Step 1: Beginner Lesson If you're brand new to Mahjong, start here with a Beginner Lesson.
  • Step 2: Level Up Lesson Completed your Beginner Lesson? Or looking to hone your skills? My Level Up Lesson is perfect for you.
  • Step 3: Guided Play Easy as (Step) 1, (Step) 2, (Step) 3! You've learned the basics, honed your skills, and now it's time to play! Practice with purpose with guided help.

After checkout, you’ll receive a payment link for your lesson. Once your payment is complete, I’ll send all the details for your Mahjong experience.

Location

We'll meet at a location of your choice in the Tampa Bay area.

A $25 flat travel fee applies for locations outside a 15-mile radius of ZIP 33707 (St. Petersburg) and is payable by Venmo or in cash upon meeting at the lesson.

Cancellations

Cancel up to 48 hours before your event to receive credit toward another date within 6 weeks. Sorry, no refunds.

Why should I trust you with my Mahjong journey?

Great question! Learning Mahjong can feel intimidating, and I don’t take lightly the trust you place in me as your teacher. I’m not only a Certified American Mahjong Instructor, but I also went the extra mile to study how to teach well. I sought out training from seasoned authorities, learning what works - and what doesn’t - so I could create my signature Mahjong Made Simple method.

The Mahjong community has noticed, too - I was honored to be nominated as a 2025 Favorite Instructor by the American Mah Jongg Association.
